Mission accomplished?

Sadly, we know of many charities that have been forced to close their doors due to funding difficulties.  Sometimes, however, organisations simply decide that they have done what they set out to do and decide to wind up.  Here is an interesting article from The New York Times; can you think of any examples closer to home?
